15 Creative Uses For Wine Corks

Hey, friends!!

Who doesn’t have wine corks in their house? Ok, you can tell me you don’t drink so you don’t have any, but surely you will have friends who will have lots of them.

After using some as card place holders, I was wondering there should be many more creative uses of wine corks so I decided to make a round up with some of my finds.

Ohmy Pili these are all seriously adorable. I love the wreath. I can only imagine how many bottles of wine that must have taken to make. But even the smaller projects are really cute! Got to find me some wine now.

We don’t drink wine but we have soooooo many friends that do. This is awesome Pili. So many creative ideas, I might just swap from beer to wine so I can make a few.

Wow its so cute and fantastic. I have also heard about an organisation called CORKCLUB, they also used to collect wine cork and their aim is to increase the wine cork recycling by collecting the corks and donating money to help preserve the Earth. http://www.corkclub.com/

two crafts in one…. take a cork, hollow out a half inch into one end, leave some rim though – now whittle a quarter of a soap bar to fit that hollowed area, glue the soap bar in place. Now the rest of the cork can hold the sewing stick pins. Pull a pin out and give it a poke into the soap and it will go easier into your fabric. When soap has seen its better day, whittle another piece of that soap bar. Well, three crafts, whittling, cork art, and sewing.

Tina, that is really a cool idea! I am sure people who are handy at sewing will give it a try. Thanks for the idea 🙂
