4 Reasons Why Natural Beauty Products are Worth the Money

Hi, guys!

There is a host of companies today that are taking the “greener” route when it comes to how they do business and the products that they sell. Consumers are becoming increasingly more informed about the benefits of natural health care and organic foods and beauty products. And the extra costs that come with purchasing natural, cruelty-free products, are definitely worth it. I think it is all about consciousness; the impact we as human beings and our acts have to the environment, to our own bodies, and to others.

I am not going to tell you that all we eat is eco or bio because unfortunately, those things are still rather expensive here, but we try to buy vegetables locally from farmers who don’t use hardly any pesticides and avoiding intermediaries makes the price much more affordable.

There are things though that are not possible to buy locally but we find them really worth to pay that extra price. I don’t want my family to brush their teeth with fluoride toothpaste, nor I want them to use any aluminum-based deodorant or even use body lotions with petroleum products such as paraffin.

Which are the benefits for that?

1.     You’re Exposing Your Skin to Fewer Toxins

When you learn about all of the toxic ingredients, from artificial dyes and fragrances to chemical ingredients that are known to disrupt your hormones and even cause cancer, it is a no-brainer to switch to the natural beauty products offered by myriad brands, such as OZNaturals. Whether you are putting on a moisturizer or makeup, whatever you put on your skin gets absorbed into the skin and into your bloodstream. Therefore, switching to natural products that will help heal your skin without clogging your pores will ensure that you look beautiful on the outside and maintain your health on the inside as well.

2.     Cleaner Ingredients and No Fillers

Conventional products often contain ingredients that are derived from petroleum or mineral oil, which can be harmful to your health. Natural brands will avoid those kinds of ingredients, which are nothing more than cheap fillers that companies use to increase their profits. You end up using more of the products and spending more money because they aren’t as effective. On the other hand, natural products are filled with effective ingredients without fillers, so you can use less and save money in the long run.

3.     Natural Products Are Better for the Planet

A lot of natural brands will feature ingredients that are better for the planet simply because they are derived from plant sources, and they use sustainable resources that can be farmed organically and with less waste. They also often contain ingredients that have not been derived from animals because factory farming is detrimental to the environment as well. And they are often cruelty-free, too, so you can rest assured that you are not purchasing products that have been inhumanely tested on animals in labs.

4.     Even the Packaging Is More Eco-Friendly

The companies that invest in the development of their natural products really care about what they are doing. They are on a mission, and their end goal isn’t just profits. They are truly concerned about providing the public with a product that is good for them and the Earth. That’s why many natural products are found in eco-friendly packaging that can be recycled again.

There is a host of reasons why investing in natural beauty products is a smart choice. You will be supporting businesses that care about people and the planet, and you will be doing something great for the health of your skin and your overall well-being because you will no longer be exposing yourself to chemically derived ingredients that are bad for you. So, go ahead and splurge, because you deserve it.

What about you? How do you feel about all this “green” movement?

Hope you have a wonderful week!

Hugs,

Pili

Oh really? I have never heard about it. I am going to search for it, hopefully it works worldwide.

Good for you Pili, the more people become aware of what is happening to our planet and what we are giving our families to eat is being a responsible citizen, caring about the world’s future as well as your family. For too long we have all been exposed to bad things in the name of profit for people who don’t care.
Our 22 yr.old grandson died last June from cancer I truly believe he got from food he ate and the air here in Grand Junction from oil industry effects. He suffered terribly, first as a teenager from 13 -17 then from 21 to 22, what a terrible shame and waste of a wonderful young man. I miss him terribly.
He got testicular cancer both times which turned into many surgeries, chemo and so much more suffering for him.
Keep up good work for yourself and your family.
    Have wonderful weekend.

Oh Jane I am so sorry to head that, really sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine how hard it’s been for all of you. As you say it’s time for the companies to forget about the profits and focus on better things for the costumers but sadly most of them don’t care too much.
I hope that little by little that is going to change and more people demand safely products.
      Have a wonderful weekend.

Such valid points Pili. It’s all about sustaining this beautiful planet of our for the future generations and I so wish that more people would think like you do. We’ve been using natural beauty products for years. Even my daughter has started experimenting with different ways to make her own scrubs and natural cleaners, using eco friendly oils and tinctures, which I love. Thanks so much for putting this out there

Such a great reminder Pili. We all need to stay away from the chemicals and other harmful fillers. I try to put as little as possible on my skin. And I am teaching my girls how to make natural cleaners for their faces.

You are so right. Unfortunatly, we sometimes forget how important our health is, and we usually go with the easy and cheaper choise. And this is just sad, because we`re harming ourself in ways we can`t even imagin..
