Cardboard Village

I love cardboard. There are multiple things you can do with it and it’s free. Every time we go to the supermarket my girls want to carry some, the bigger the better. They love to hide below it in the car, make forts at home, make beds for the dog and themselves… I am astonished with their imagination.

And then we found a wonderful idea for Christmas, just using cardboard, cotton and some glitter… A cardboard village

We decided to paint the trees green and add some glitter at the top to give it a snowy look, and we added some lights between them, and it looks wonderful at night.

I can tell you this is one of the funniest and easiest crafts you can do for Christmas, but if you need more inspiration you can have a look at these other ideas

Hugs,

Pili

Pilli, this is such a cute idea. The fact that your girls come up with these things is great. They’ll be able to take over your blog in a few years. I absolutely love the lights in the back of the cardboard. Makes it look so pretty.

Pili, so sweet! And I love that it’s upcycled. When my kiddos were wee ones, cardboard was the best thing to play with.
    Thanks for sharing, Lynn

I love that you and the girls do so many fun things together! Love it! This village is really adorable. I loved it during the day shot, but really loved it when you turned the lights on. So festive! Love it!!!!

They grow too fast, so we try to do things together as much as we can. When they leave home there’ll be more than enought time to do other things.
      This is their Christmas favorite!
