The French Foot Stool

Hi, all!

Today I am going to show you the easiest and fastest transformation of a little foot stool I bought at my favorite flea market.

It was “brand new” let’s say because the foam was perfect and it had a plastic wrap to protect.  Even the legs were white so no need to paint them! Sorry for the bad quality of the picture but I was so excited I started the project at night.

I searched for some nice french inspired images and found a lovely one that fit perfectly.

Then I did the same as in my romantic pillow to transfer the graphic into the fabric. You will find step by step instructions here. I stapled it in place and it was done!

Isn’t it cute? What’s your favorite way to transfer images?

Hugs,

Pili

Well another cute project is darling!!! My grandmother needle pointed to make a cover for her little step stool similar to yours. Wish I had it now.

Mimi, I try to repurpose everything it’s not useful anymore… Sometimes the idea strikes me all of a sudden, and sometimes it takes months… Anyway, I’m happy you’re visiting 🙂
