Hi, friends!
I am cleaning my crafting room again because even a needle doesn’t fit in it there right now. As I keep finding scrap wood at dumpsters or curbside and I keep taking them home with me, I’ve used some to make some crates and put my stuff into to have it organized. It turns out that we can not only use them to sort things out, but they have much more creative uses.
Here will you find 20 different uses we can give them. It clicking on the image it will take you to the source.

[ Smiles ] I love your insight; it never crossed my mind that old crates can be used as shelves!
You’re right, Renard! I would have never thought they can be used as a desk…

Me too!! I can’t wait to find more crates and use them.

I came though the Share it Linky party. So many gorgeous ideas. I’ve just made a pouf from a plastic milk crate. Have a nice week
Hi Christina! Thanks for stopping by, love what you do!
Hugs,
All of these projects are amazing! I especially love the ottomans, I think I may need to make one! LOL Especially with the logos on them. So stylish, unique, cool! Thanks for compiling all these projects, pinning so I can make this in the future! Just wanted to tell you I love the crate you did with the plant inside!!! So pretty.
Hi Nikki! This compilation helps me to decide when I need some inspiration. Today I found some drawers next to the dumpster but had to pass on as they were full of woodworm and it’s too much work for a little drawer… but I’ll keep looking for more! My crate came from the Monster…
Awesome roundup! Love them all. Thanks for sharing. We love having you at Thursday Favorite Things blog hop.
Hi, Jas! My pleasure! See you next Thursday

I’m sure you will find some!!
this is truly inspiring! I will definitely keep my crates from now on 🙂
So many brilliant ideas Pili. I’ve been hunting for crates for a while now and finally decided just to make my own. They’re never the right size. Looks like I’mm going to have to make a lot more after seeing all this inspiration 😉
Yes Michelle, you will be really busy.
What a nice collection. So so many great ideas! Pinnin it 🙂
Glad you like them, Cristina. Thanks for stopping by
Thank you so much for rounding up these ideas. I NEED to find a bunch all the same size; my future craft room doesn’t even have a PATH! I would cover the walls with them for storage and be (almost!) organized. I have found one so far–a Maine blueberry crate which isn’t unusual as I live in Maine but I want more and deeper ones!
I bet your craft room will be amazing with the idea you have for it. Maybe you can find more crates at a local grocery or market, or even make your own.
Thanks so much for stopping by, Kathy!
