15 Different Uses for Drawers

Hi, everyone!

You know I love to upcycle things, and last week I found two drawers. One of them is quite big and the other is small. The small one is holding some of my craft supplies, but I was wondering what to do with the bigger one. So I headed over the internet to get some ideas and I found quite a lot of good ones and I want to share them with you.

Hi, Heather! Yes, that one is so original, I would have never thought using a drawer for that…

I love them all. I think my favourite is the storage box, but then I also like the flower box and the gorgeous puppy! Thanks Pili for sharing another lovely post with us at #AnythingGoes.

What great ideas for re-using an old or new drawer! You are so very creative! I am so impressed with all the different ways to use them! I really like the shelf ladder, it doesn’t take up much room and would be perfect for a bathroom! Thanks for sharing!

    • Pili says:

Hi, Tricia! I love re-using or re-purposing things we have at home. I think the shelf ladder is great too.

These are some great ideas–makes me rethink the sad old drawers I see at thrift stores and estate sales all the time. Thank you for sharing at Merry Monday!

Yes, the lamp is gorgeous. I tried to find the source so hard but I had no luck, what a shame…

My pleasure, Laurel!! It’s so lovely! I’m sure it will inspire a lot of people to make their own.
      Thanks for stopping by!

  9. Winepine says:

Great idea. It’s customary in my home to remove shelves to lighten the weight of an armoire or chest of drawers that’s on it’s way out. Now I know what to do with the drawers!

One question: Have you ever tried similar projects with wooden wine crates? They work well for planters and shelving options and give a chateau-chic accent to the decor.

    • Pili says:

Hi! Yes, wine crates are wonderful for crafts projects as well. I’ve used them several times, but I still need to set up the post to show them.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Love you wine crates!
